Dr's. John, Susan and Kristine Michaels

November 29, 2013

I have been seeing Sue Michaels for over six years; I often tell her, ‘What will I ever do when you retire?’ She gives a little laugh and says, ‘Oh, that won’t be for a while.’  I say this with deep respect to her as I would not be back to my ‘life’ as I knew it after my car accident, without her skills as part of my recovery.  I don’t go to her as frequently now as I did after the accident; but she helps me maintain my level of lifestyle, and decreasing pain flare ups.  Thank you, Sue!”

“I started to make some serious life changes; I lost 50 pounds, began running, and wanted to make sure that my body could handle my goal of being an ‘athlete.’  At the advice of a co-worker, I decided to give PPH a try.  Only have seen Dr. Susan a few times, but what a difference!  No more aches, numbness, and pain.  Dr. Susan took the time to listen to me and asked questions to make sure that all my issues have been addressed.  I have started my training/running program and I don’t think it would be going as well if I hadn’t seen Dr. Susan at PPH!  I look forward to my appointments and the pampering I get every time I visit!  There’s nothing better than getting loosened up and going for a run!  My husband sees how wonderful I feel, and he plans to go to PPH himself.  I recommend anyone to attend PPH for all their chiropractic needs!

“Most people would consider me the type of person who didn’t need to go see a Chiropractor.  I had no major back, shoulder, neck or hip problems.  However, the first time I met Dr. Kristine was at a health fair where she was giving free spinal screenings.  She had barely started the screening when she asked, ‘Oh, do you get headaches?’  That caught my attention! ‘Um, yea!’  I actually chatted with her several more times before I took advantage of her offer of a free consultation.  I guess I waited a while since I generally felt pretty good.  The more we talked, the more I realized how much in sync we were about health and a person taking responsibility for his or her own health and body.   I started with 2-3 appointments a week and now just have one a month for maintenance.  I’m happy to report that, even though I thought I felt pretty good before, I felt GREAT now! Plus, I used to have 1 to 2 headaches per week and I have now only had 5 headaches since mid-December, including two straight months without experiencing one at all!”

“I visited a chiropractor in the past having 18 visits with only some improvement, but not much.  I decided to go to Dr. John Michaels and within just a few visits I had more relief than I did with all the other 18 visits combined.

Now I am feeling 99.9% better after just a few visits.  If I have more problems, I know exactly where to go without hesitation."

"When I needed chiropractic help, my neighbor referred me to Dr. Susan Michaels. I am very impressed with her professionalism and her personable manner. She gives gentle care and yet, little as she is, has the strength needed to give successful adjustments with a re-assuring ‘good’ or ‘very good’ comment. For 7 years now she has helped me through a mild concussion, many stiff neck treatments, strained back, etc., and I highly recommend her to anyone."

“Chiropractic care works. I used to get bad headaches where I could not even concentrate. My neck felt like someone was squeezing it where I hardly could move it. My shoulders always ached and my lower back was sore. Now, with visits to my chiropractor whenever I feel it is needed, my headaches are far and few between, my shoulders feel great and I walk without pain.”

“I have been Dr. John Michael’s patient for several years. He has been most helpful with his treatments. Dr. John is caring and listens. He makes me feel like I AM important to him, and shows compassion in regard to my particular pain. However, it is not ‘above him’ to refer a person elsewhere if needed. As an example, one problem I have is a protruding disc that causes me to have nerve pain. It got to the point where Dr. John felt I should consult with my Dr. to schedule an MRI in order to pinpoint the problem, and consider having epidural injections to relieve the pain. I followed through with his suggestions, learned what was causing my pain, and got relief from the injections. I continue to see Dr. Michaels, and encourage others to do the same.”

“If it wasn’t for Chiropractic care I wouldn’t be walking today; I would be in a wheelchair. It isn’t an instant fix, it takes time, but it works. I spent every year in the hospital for the first five years after a back injury that was back in 1978. I am still coming back for treatments to maintain my health and to keep my physical balance with life.”

“When I started Chiropractic care I was having 3-4 migraines a month and treating with medication. I was also noticing that when I was driving I wasn’t able to look over my right shoulder; I actually had to turn my body to see. So, I decided to give Chiropractic care a try. I have to admit that I was a little hesitant at first, but my mind was quickly changed. The first thing I noticed was the increase in the range of motion in my neck and then the decrease in my headaches came quickly behind. Because of the care I have received I have decreased the use of migraine medications to almost nothing. I have more energy and generally feel better. I have come to recognize the signs of when I need to be seen, which has allowed me to prevent my migraines. I cannot tell you how grateful I am for the results of the care I have received and that I cannot believe I did not choose this course of treatment sooner!"

“For years I experienced chronic lower back and hip pain thus becoming sedentary due to the incredible pain that I was experiencing since 1999. Years went by and a lot of medical doctors were consulted, which meant prescribed pain medications and was sent home with their blessings. In October of 2012 I consulted Dr. Kristine Michaels. She began ‘her God given talent’, and within 2 and a half weeks of treatments, I felt like a new woman. I now see her 1x a week for treatments, (shooting for 1x a month) and am able to walk, ride in a vehicle for hours, and yes, sit on the floor to play with my granddaughter! Thank You Dr. Kristine- you are a miracle worker and gave me my life back!!!”

“I went to Dr. Michaels when I first got hurt in 1999. He helped me a lot. Then I stopped and started on pain pills. My back hurt all the time. Now I stopped the pain pills and am back with Dr. Michaels. I feel better than ever; not only physically, but mentally. I was having stomach problems because of my back, and my posture was bad, so every time I tried to lift or bend I was in pain and back in his office. He explained to me that we needed to correct this problem or I was going to keep having pain. He was right! I kept going to him as often as he said to. I do the exercises he told me to do, and now I feel great! I will keep on seeing him once a month now for maintenance, and no more pain pills.”

“I am a 68 year old woman who has never believed in Chiropractic medicine until now. After spending three months going to doctors and having many tests, they were not able to relieve the pain in my back and leg. A friend suggested going to see Sue Michaels & though I had nothing to lose so I tried it. After just a few treatments my pain is gone and I can once again do everything I was doing before. My mind has been changed – I now believe in Chiropractic medicine.”

“What started as a twinge in my lower back just wouldn’t go away, and after about a year I couldn’t even put my socks on in the morning. That’s the point when I quit being stubborn and called Dr. Michaels office upon the recommendation of my wife’s M.D. I am very happy with the friendly atmosphere & Service – and best of all, I can bend over and ride in the car again without hurting. It is highly recommended.”
